Jointing Technologies stock Raychem FlexiClic
Jointing Technologies now stocks the complete new Raychem FlexiClic range of modular self-regulating electrical heat-tracing systems.
Developed by Tyco Thermal Controls and launched in Spring 2008, Raychem FlexiClic systems simplify the installation of heat-tracing for frost protection to pipework and for preventing snow and ice forming in gutters and drainpipes.
Jointing Technologies' is one of the UK's leading distributors of electrical power and heating cable systems.
Its decision to make the stock commitment was influenced by the extremely positive reception that FlexiClic received from plumbing and electrical contractors at the recent Homebuilding and Renovating show in Birmingham.
Visitors to its stand had a hands-on demonstration of how quick and easy it is to install in the modular format with secure 'click together' connections and could appreciate the potential this system offered their businesses.
Simon Broderick, Trace-heating Manager at Jointing Technologies, remarked: "In the past some contractors, particularly on smaller projects, have been hesitant to become involved in installing heat tracing systems for frost protection themselves because of inexperience with the technology".
"This intuitive range of FlexiClic products and accessories enables all contractors to embrace this business opportunity whether the project is large or small and we are already generating an expanded customer base because of it".
Adam Lloyd, Managing Director of Jointing Technologies added, " We have committed to stocking the entire FlexiClic range and supporting new customers who will now be getting involved with heat-tracing for the first time because of this system's simplicity".
"We are confident FlexiClic will also be making a significant contribution to the continuing growth of our business too".
Jonathan Jones, European Product Manager, and leader of the FlexiClic Development project at Tyco Thermal Controls commented, "Our customers look to us for innovative, time saving, and simplified solutions and in FlexiClic we seem to have delivered on our customer's expectations as the FlexiClic launch has already proved very successful.
