Factors taken into account for the STEPS award include delivery in the specified time, accuracy of picking and delivery, packaging and labelling, invoice accuracy and timing.
Johnson and Starley stock around 2000 lines available to British Gas - as well as a large number of "one-time buys" - and almost 40,000 items were delivered in the 12-month award period.
Managing Director of Johnson and Starley, Glenn Page, had no hesitation in congratulating his team, "Phil and his department have been involved with this project for ten years and we have built a winning platform for service and supply of world-class products".
