The RENO is being used to replace old floor-standing units which are generally in the order of 12 or more years old.
One of the Daventry District Council engineers responsible for the replacement programme, Mr Kevin Fowkes, comments: "We have dealt with Johnson and Starley for many years, purchasing warm air heating systems, fans and heat recovery units.
Improving energy efficiency and looking at life time costs are the main drivers for the programme and we simply felt that the RENO was the right boiler to choose.
The RENO is a high quality product and we knew we would get the service back up.
Many RSLs and local authorities such as Daventry have benefited from long low maintenance working lives from Johnson and Starley's Economaire and other warm air heating appliances, often extending up to 30 years of more.
Now - in addition to warm air heaters - many are extending on their partnership with Johnson and Starley and are choosing to install the RENO boilers which also offer high quality and reliability.
The RENO is not only one of the most efficient boilers on the market but it is also one of the quietest running and built to a very high standard.
All the boilers in the range feature the use of a Grundfos pump as well as Honeywell controls and they will modulate down to a very low load, optimising energy saving and reducing cycling.
They also deliver domestic hot water with high flow rates and rapid recovery.
Their wide choice of flueing options makes for ease of installation and it is possible to site the RENO virtually anywhere in a domestic property.
