Johnson and Starley's Q-Vent high efficiency heat recovery ventilation unit for domestic applications will be displayed at the CIH 2010 Exhibition.

SAP Appendix Q listed the Q-Vent HR 160 meets the demands for very high efficiency heat recovery.

This has been achieved with the inclusion of a counterflow heat exchanger.

An installer's commissioning panel allows infinitely variable air extract rates to be set accurately to give close control of air supply and extraction rates on both normal and boost settings.

This is essential to provide the correct balance between heating and ventilation as over or under ventilation will result in less efficient use of energy.

For boost activation and summer mode settings, a number of optional controls are available to the occupier.

The unit can also be wired to facilitate other boost settings such as a humidistat.

The high heat recovery rates of 90 per cent are substantially higher than some other heat recovery products available for domestic applications.

This has been achieved through the inclusion of the counterflow heat exchanger and innovative design.

Additional energy efficient operation has also been achieved with the inclusion of EC fan motors.

Johnson and Starley will be exhibiting on Stand 202 in Hall C at CIH, Harrogate International Centre, on 22-24 June 2010.
