All John Brash DeckSure structural timber deck boards have been vacuum pressure treated with Osmose Naturewood and carry a 25 year guarantee against wood rotting fungi and insect attack.
A water-repellent additive is applied, which further improves the wood's stability, making it less susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity and hence less prone to twisting and splitting.
Nigel Booth, Marketing Manager at John Brash, continues: "The decking project for Cafe 19 was a real labour of love for us".

DeckSure is manufactured from high-quality structural timber deck boards, made from kiln-dried European Redwood that is graded to BS4978:1996 strength class C16 which makes it suitable for most landscaped areas.
The boards are available in either 120mm or 145mm widths in four different thicknesses along with the option of smooth or grooved finish.
Gainsborough chose the 145mm grooved boards in order to utilise their additional grip, especially as the decking is exposed to the elements.
DeckSure structural timber deck boards can also be fitted with JB Antislip Plus inserts, a durable and effective slip resistant external surface to reduce the risk of slips and trips even further.
JB Antislip Plus, which has been tested by the Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL) using a Stanley Pendulum Test, is a unique resin-based insert that is injected into the deck board grooves.
It is available in a range of colours to improve safety even further by drawing attention to changes in height, steps, slopes or perimeters.
Cafe 19 is one of Gainsborough's newest cafe and coffee bars.
Overlooking the course, it serves a large range of hot and cold snacks and is also fully licensed.
It is now becoming widely recognized that timber is one of the most environmentally friendly building materials.
All John Brash timbers are sourced from renewable and environmentally well-managed sources with most either Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or PEFC certified.
The (FSC) is an international non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting the responsible management of the world's forests.
The FSC logo, together with the organisation's chain of custody number, verifies that the wood comes from independently certified, well-managed forests or other controlled sources.
