New CPD seminar on anti bacterial coatings

Anti bacterial hygienic paint coatings is to be covered by leading paint specialists Johnstone's in a new RIBA Approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar.

Entitled 'Anti Bacterial Coatings for Internal Surfaces', the new seminar provides architects and specifiers with valuable information on the development of specialist hygienic coatings and the many benefits they can bring to health, education and food manufacturing sectors.

Including an overview of the most harmful types of bacteria such as MRSA and E-coli, the seminar looks at the many different methods that can be employed to reduce and control the spread of infection.

Delivered by experts from the Johnstone's specification team, the seminar goes on to explain how anti bacterial paints have been developed using proven silver ion technology to provide additional protection against bacteria when used as part of a comprehensive cleaning and maintenance programme.
