JS Air Conditioners is launching the new Aventis heat recovery system for small to medium sized public premises up to 400m3.

It will extract polluted air from inside a building, draw in fresh air from outside and transfer the heat from the outgoing to the incoming air before releasing the incoming air to the rooms.

The Aventis is 90% efficient at recovering the heat from the outgoing air reducing the need to heat the incoming fresh air to a minimum.

By preventing the loss of this valuable heat, the energy requirements of a 400m3 premises could be reduced by up to 23,500kW per year when compared to simply using an air handling unit without a heat recovery system.

The Aventis has a maximum air flow capacity of 2,400m3/h and intelligent controls that will regulate the system in accordance with desired CO2 concentration or humidity.

This saves further energy by restricting the heat recovery system's use to times when it is absolutely necessary.

The Aventis is a compact unit with a self-supporting casing of galvanized steel and 10mm thick insulation to ensure quiet operation.

Installation into a suspended ceiling system is made easy as the unit is only 360mm high and has plug and play connections.

Air filtration is provided on the fresh and polluted air inlets with G4 plate filters.

Due to its advanced high efficiency hexagonal recuperator the heat recovery system is up to 30% more efficient than other models that use a more conventional cross flow recuperator.

The Aventis includes an automatic condensate pumping system and an electric pre-heater that allows the recuperator to function in conditions that would normally limit its operation due to freezing.

An integrated regulation system operates so as to maintain the highest recuperation efficiency with the lowest possible running costs.

If the unit is equipped with a CO2 concentration or a relative humidity sensor, the fan is controlled so that it is on the lowest possible setting whilst providing the optimum internal air quality.

Any variations in internal conditions will result in the fan increasing or decreasing accordingly.

The Aventis' operation is controlled via a multi-language LCD remote control that is easily connected with plug and play wiring.

JS Air Conditioners is part of the JS Humidifiers group of companies.
