Triple contract win scores Kawneer GBP4
million

Kawneer has secured several contracts worth almost GBP4 million in key developments nationwide.

Kawneer, the UK's leading manufacturer and supplier of architectural aluminium systems, through its established network of dealerships, has secured several contracts worth almost GBP4 Million in key developments nationwide The contracts comprise both commercial and residential property and are due for completion in 2006

The Leicester Mercury Building is a commercial refurbishment in Leicester city centre.

Designed by Franklin Ellis Architects, the project has utilised GBP1.7 Million of Kawneer products including the 1202 curtain wall, 1202S curtain wall and AA600 series windows.

The contract, awarded to Pendant Aluminium , is due for completion in June 2006.

Bishop Justus School in Bromley, Kent, is a new-build school developed by main contractors Norwest Holst.

The project, awarded to Kawneer dealership, Melayway Glass, utilised Kawneer's AA600 series windows in a contract worth GBP1.6 Million.

Designed by Barron and Smith Architects, the project was completed in August 2005.

Oberlanders Architects specified GBP600,000 of Kawneer products for Bush Technopole, a new build business park development located on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Supplied by Charles Henshaw and Sons, the project includes the 1202 and 1612S curtain wall systems, AA601 top/side hung windows, AA603 Tilturn windows and AA605 swing doors.
