Kawneer provides glazing for council offices

A Kawneer UK product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Oct 23, 2008

Curtain walling, windows and doors from Kawneer have been supplied for Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council's offices .

The offices and service response centre in Port Talbot had Kawneer's AA100 zone-drained vertical and mullion-drained sloped curtain walling, AA601 top-hung casement windows, AA605 rebated emergency escape doors and 190 heavy-duty commercial entrance doors installed.

'The Quays' comprises two buildings - one for general office accommodation and one for various workshops, stores, ancillary offices and vehicle depots that have been assembled together in the service response centre.

The former uses Kawneer's curtain walling, windows and doors throughout.

The Kawneer-glazed elements are a key part of the building's architecture.
