Kalzip to cover an Olympic hopeful
Potential Olympic athletes at SandP Architects' new international swimming pool in Corby, Northamptonshire, will have a Kalzip roof over their heads when the building opens next year.
Work on the GBP20 million project started last summer and Teamkal approved sub contractor WWR (UK) will install a total of 4,000m of Kalzip aluminium profiled sheets in a basalt grey matt finish this summer Sixty-metre lengths of Kalzip will run from eaves to eaves and include a 3,000m naturally curved roof section and 1,000m of wall cladding with a variable radius of almost seven metres
