Kee Klamp has supplied fittings from its extensive range to create the impressive guardrailing structures at the new LEGOLAND Deutschland.

In a huge project Kee Klamp fittings were specified to ensure safe, effective and colour co-ordinated queue management and protective barriers.

LEGOLAND Deutschland is the fourth LEGOLAND theme park to make children's dreams come true.

There are new attractions as well as the most successful elements from the existing sites Billund, Denmark, native to the LEGO company, the USA and England's own Royal Windsor.

'Only the best is good enough' is the Lego company motto so it was appropriate that Kee Klamp fittings were chosen for the guardrailing to guide visitors around rides at the new site.

Providing Kee Klamp fittings for guardrailing at LEGOLAND Deutschland was one of the biggest projects ever for the German Kee Klamp operations team.

Over 14,000 fittings were supplied to create over 7 kilometres of safety guardrailing, complete with wire mesh in-fill panels where required, ensuring maximum levels of safety.

To match LEGOLAND's fun, bright corporate colours, all of the Kee Klamp fittings and guardrailing tubes were colour coated to specified NCSC colours, not standard RAL colours.

The prompt service provided by the team at Kee Klamp in applying this accurate colour co-ordination was crucial to the success of the project.

All Kee Klamp fittings used at LEGOLAND Deutschland, feature an integral set screw to lock the fitting safely and securely onto the guardrail tubes, allowing complete versatility in structure design and direction.

This results in a clean, secure and trouble-free installation which eliminates the need for time-consuming bending, welding or specialist skills, ensuring assembly time is kept down to an absolute minimum.
