Kee Safety Lite solution for water treatment

Kee Safety has developed its Kee Lite range of aluminium tube fittings to provide contractors with a secure, lightweight and corrosion-resistant handrailing solution for water industry applications.

Much lighter than ordinary fittings, Kee Lite fittings are manufactured from a high grade Aluminium Silicon Magnesium alloy which provides excellent resistance to the effects of water corrosion.

Kee Lite fittings can thus be used to create structures which provide a safe hand hold and protect employees from accidents when accessing exposed areas at desalination plants, sewage treatment plants, weirs, reservoirs and other industry applications.

These lightweight fittings are also quick and easy to work with, so contractors can design and build, then change and extend tubular handrailing structures simply and cost-effectively.

The specially coated grub screws in each fitting are designed to lock the product safely and securely onto its respective tube, delivering an excellent and proven slip load performance.

This technology eliminates the need for time consuming welding or specialist installation skills, helping to keep assembly time and costs down to an absolute minimum.

Part of the company's Safety Components range, Kee Lite fittings have been extensively tested to ensure that even though they are much lighter than conventional products they will ensure the structure remains strong and durable throughout the lifetime of an installation, even in harsh environments.

With their bright aluminium finish, unique contoured design and discreetly positioned set-screws, installations featuring Kee Lite fittings benefit from a completely integrated, high quality and attractive finish.

They can also be supplied polyester-coated in any RAL colour to suit the project's requirements.
