Flexible Solution For Water Storage

A Keraflo product story

New range of large valves designed to maintain water levels in storage tanks and give great flexibility and high flow rates.

Keraflo have introduced a range of large valves which are designed to maintain the desired water level in storage tanks offering great flexibility and high flow rates.

By combining an in-line control valve with an Aylesbury 'KB' type float valve acting as a pilot, an ideal installation is created for mains or pumped systems.

The fully variable delayed action pilot valve supplied enables the differential between opening and closing to be set up to 1820mm below the discharge outlet.

The discharge is optimised to provide a vertical jet that stirs up the stored water which reduces the risk of water stagnation and stratification within the tank.

This in turn reduces the risk of levels of bacteria, including legionallae baterium.

Control valves which are available in 4", 6" and 8" sizes, offer excellent flow rate performance and are quieter than a conventional valve due to the elimination of water hammer, valve bounce, hiss and dribble.

Recent successful installations include fire sprinkler tanks and water treatment plants where the ease of fitting, inspection and maintenance as well as all the advantages of delayed action are proving to be highly beneficial.
