Mike, North West Business Development Manager and Linda, Sales Office Manager, shared a giant cake to commemorate their achievement at a special presentation at Kestrel's warehouse and distribution facility in Stoke on Trent.
Both remember the company's beginnings in Congleton, Cheshire where Mike first worked as a warehouse supervisor and Linda as a purchase ledger/payroll clerk.
Both have watched Kestrel grow to become a leading supplier of PVC-U and PVC-UE window trim, roofline and cladding profiles to the building industry.
"Although it was great to reminisce about the past, there has never been a more exciting time to work for Kestrel than now," says Linda who leads a team of 5 customer service staff.
Kestrel is experiencing a new era of growth and profitability following introduction of innovative and environmentally conscious new products, together with improved customer service and distribution.
Kestrel's sales and marketing activities have also been boosted with the nationwide recruitment of business development managers.
"We are very optimistic for the future," says Linda.
"With a great new sales team and exciting new products, the phones at the sales office have never been busier".
"Customer communication and stock control are better than ever".
"Many of Kestrel's original employees are either still with us, or have returned".
"People stay because they enjoy working with Kestrel and there is a great sense of teamwork," says Linda.
