The no tin, no lead, next generation cellular building products supplier, Kestrel, has achieved the environmental management standard BS EN ISO 14001:2004.

The standard covers continuous development of key issues such as including environmental matters in management reviews, recycling and waste segregation, raising awareness of the issues through training of employees and communicating the relevant environmental information to employees and customers alike Kestrel's Environment Manager Dave Watts explains the importance of the standard: "Environmental issues are top of the agenda for consumers and businesses"

"Kestrel already offers a more environmentally friendly product by using 100% calcium organic stabilisers in the skin and core of its products, but we wanted to go further".

"We wanted to demonstrate that Kestrel is also considerate to the environment in the overall running of the business".

"To achieve this standard we had to prove that we were committed to the continuous improvement and development of environmental considerations". Request free introductory details about products from Kestrel-BCE ...

"We're delighted to have achieved the standard because it demonstrates our ongoing commitment to this important issue.".
