Kestrel regional contracts managers pass CSCS

A Kestrel-BCE product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 11, 2008

Kestrel has recently put its six strong team of Regional Contracts Managers through the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and all have achieved compliance.

"One third of all work fatalities occur in the construction sector, so it's crucial for everyone working on site in the sector to adhere to the strictest health and safety regulations".

"One of our national house builder customers asked that any member of our team visiting their sites should have passed the CSCS certification for just this reason - to ensure health and safety requirements are exceeded," explains Kestrel's National Contracts Manager, Gavin Forsyth.

"But we decided to take it one step further and put our entire Contracts team to the test".

"And all six passed with flying colours".

"We wanted to go the extra mile because it reassures our house builder customers that any member of our team is competent to be on site".

"I think we'll see a trend emerge over the next few months of more house builders making it compulsory for all site visitors have this health and safety certification".

"We wanted to pre-empt this move and stay ahead of our customer demands"".

"Exceeding customers' expectations is something we strive to do in every area of our business," says Tony Crutcher, Sales and Marketing Director of the Kestrel brand".

"That's why we are a fully vertically integrated supplier with in house blending".

"It's also why we were the first (2002) and are the only major British manufacturer to utilise Calcium Organic stabilisers throughout our products, to ensure they are future proofed for our customers for the long term.".
