Recognising that specifiers and contractors are keen for 'right first time' installation to avoid costly rectification, prevent future problems and, ultimately reduce life cycle costs, Phil's main role will be to train installers in the correct installation procedures of Kingspan systems.
Phil will undertake comprehensive training for contractors - both main contractors and roofing and cladding contractors - which can be tailored to the individual requirements of a specific project, or general training in Kingspan's most popular systems.
The training will be available either on or off site and can be undertaken for any number of people.
As well as undertaking training at the request of specifiers and contractors who contact Kingspan, Phil will also proactively contact customers ordering through the company to ensure that they are completely up to date with the correct installation of the particular system they have selected.
In addition, Phil will also be responsible for carrying out post fit inspections on problem installations to establish the exact cause and recommend the appropriate solution.
Phil is well placed to offer contractors a high quality, effective service that will help them improve their own productivity and quality of installation.
Having worked previously in Kingspan's technical support services for three years, Phil has developed a keen understanding of both Kingspan's composite panel solutions and the needs of all those involved in the specification and installation process.
Such a service will give Irish specifiers and contractors complete peace of mind that each Kingspan system will be installed correctly and, as a result, guarantee optimum performance.
Customers in England, Scotland and Wales can also benefit from the same valuable service from Field Service Engineer, Steve Ball.
