New business development manager at Kingspan
New business development manager at Kingspan set to build strong relationships with key clients.
Kingspan Insulated Panels has appointed a new Business Development manager to support the companies move into new market sectors and develop long-term relationships with key clients.
William McDowell joins the company with 10 years' experience in the insulation and panels industry and a 20-year career in business development.
He joined Kingspan in November 2004, and says he has always had a healthy respect for the company and the attitude of its staff.
"My role in Kingspan is to develop strong relationships with key specifiers, key developers and key end users," he says.
These include major retailers, property developers and specialist project managers.
"My focus is both on major projects and on relationships with those that generate them," he continues.
"Raising awareness of the breadth and depth of products and services Kingspan offers will lead to opportunities for Kingspan to demonstrate how we can help and support them in the realisation of their business objectives." McDowell has joined Kingspan at a time when demand for the company's products is set to grow.
"The company is well positioned to make the best of changes that are coming in respect of the sustainability agenda, energy efficiency and health and safety," he says.
"Kingspan products offer clients a very robust solution to meeting the energy performance directive that is coming in next year, as well as addressing many of the concerns expressed in the new Work at Height regulations." He adds: "If anything, demands for environmental performance, energy efficiency and safety are only going to get even tougher in the next few years".
"Kingspan products have been designed to build in 'future-proofing' solutions that address the concerns that many specifiers and building owners have about the reliability and performance of cladding systems".
"We will continue to improve our systems and techniques and enhance our ways in which address these demands.".
