New facade range from Kingspan Insulated Panels uses imaginative finishes on proven insulated panel systems to create energy efficient buildings of individual distinction.

The Kingspan Facade FX range comes in a variety of finishes - from marble and wood to aged or natural copper - which can be applied to any of Kingspan's roof, wall and facade systems, and can be used in combination with other panels to create a unique finish The trompe l'oeil effects, which also include brick and stone, can create limitless visual combinations, both externally and internally, and have considerably increased the potential applications for panel technology

Each of the finishes can be applied to the facade of any type of building and can provide construction solutions where planners objectives require less obtrusive buildings or structures - for instance, for acoustic and visual barriers alongside urban roads.

To celebrate the launch, Kingspan has created a website dedicated to the Facade FX range at www.kingspanpanels.com/kingspanfacadefx where a downloadable brochure can be accessed and swatches requested, along with images of the new effects.

Visitors to the site also have the chance to rate the Kingspan Facade FX range and all feedback received will be entered into a prize draw to win a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car Kit which will be drawn on 31 March 2008.

Kingspan Facade FX is a single fix panel, providing up to 50% faster construction speeds when compared with traditional methods and requiring no wet trades on site.

With a reliable build programme and rapid installation, a weathertight envelope can be achieved very early in construction, accelerating internal fit out and enabling earlier completion and handover.

In common with other Kingspan products, the range has high performance thermal insulation built in with a guaranteed U-value lifecycle, 100% reliable thermal performance and insulation continuity and low air leakage.

The system has an ECOsafe core, has Loss Prevention Certification to LPS 1181; and can be classified as 'non-combustible building' by the Association of British Insurers.

The range has an overall life expectancy of up to 40 years and benefits from Kingspan's Total Guarantee, which covers all key performance areas - such as structural performance, thermal performance and coating - for up to 25 years.
