Kingspan expands throughout Europe

Kingspan, manufacturers of highly acclaimed range of insulation products, has announced further expansion throughout Europe.

Kingspan Insulation has announced further expansion throughout Europe with the recent purchase of one new production line for its Castleblayney manufacturing plant in Ireland and the imminent purchase of two more, one for the North of England and one for Eastern Europe.

These new lines will produce Kingspan's highly acclaimed range of insulation products and are not only a massive investment for the company, signalling a major expansion of its manufacturing capabilities, but will also provide new jobs in these areas.

Kingspan Insulation is market leader in the manufacture of rigid phenolic and rigid urethane insulation and offers an extensive range of premium and high performance products for the industrial, commercial and housing market.

Manufactured from some of the most thermally efficient insulation materials readily available today, with a thermal conductivity as low as 0.021 W/m.K, the Kingspan range offers some of the thinnest insulation solutions possible.

All of the products are lightweight, easy to handle and install and some have a Class O / Low Risk fire rating together with negligible smoke obscuration.

Rigid urethane and phenolic insulation are also unaffected by air movement and are resistant to the passage of water vapour, continuing to perform at the specified level over the lifetime of a building.
