University of Surrey's new student accommodation, designed with sustainability in mind, benefits from non-deleterious, premium performance insulation from Kingspan Insulation.
18,000m2 of Kingspan Kooltherm K3 Floorboard, K8 Cavity Board and K10 Soffit Board were used in the GBP31.1 million development of Phase R1a of the Manor Park site in Guildford which is destined to provide accommodation for 4,500 staff and students Rob Howard of architects Broadway Malyan said "The proposed design for the accommodation was subject to a rigorous environmental impact assessment process, as the University's planning application committed it to achieving a BREEAM rating of Excellent"
