Sonos Sounders installed at National Indoor Arena

A Klaxon Signals product story

Klaxon's Sonos Sounders installed by BDS at National Indoor Arena's two main car parks.

BDS Fire and Security (Northern) is part-way through a contract to install Klaxon Signals' Sonos sounder beacons at the National Indoor Arena's two main car parks, with the South car park nearing completion and the North car park installation imminent.

The Sonos sounder beacon uses LEDs as its light source, drawing significantly less current than traditional xenon beacons.

A translucent sounder case enables greater light spread for more effective warning.

Additionally, the unique Timesaver Base, which simply twists and clicks into place, ensures fast and reliable installation.

BDS Director, Graham Hawkins, remarked, "We chose the Sonos sounder beacon for several reasons, including ease of installation, excellent visibility from wide angles offered by the transparent beacon dome and, of course, competitive pricing".

The National Indoor Arena is a major venue for National and International sports events, including the Davis Cup tennis tournament and World Indoor Athletics.

It also regularly stages music concerts, operas and other entertainment shows.

BDS has been involved with the NIA for 5 years through its Birmingham office.

The company's headquarters are in Surrey.
