Living Space gains industry accreditations

Living Space has achieved recognition in industry accreditations from Quality Assurance ISO 9001, CHAS, Construction Line and BBA.

The manufacturer of canopies, glazing bars and conservatory roof systems, is committed to offering quality, technical innovation, reliability, value and a high standard of customer service to its UK customer base.

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard for quality management and although voluntary, they are fast becoming a market requirement.

Living Space holds the quality assurance standard BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000 (certificate Number GB11256) for manufacture, sales and distribution of roof glazing systems, canopies and car ports.

Living Space is pre-qualified to government standards as a supplier for construction contracts and is registered on Constructionline, the UK's largest national online database servicing more than 8,000 public and private sector buyers.

Constuctionline is recommended by the OGC's (Office of Government Commerce) Common Minimum Standards and The Local Government Task Force as an efficient, time and cost saving best practice method of procurement.

CHAS - The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme - is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK.

Living Space is a pre-qualified supplier to organisations including the public sectors (health trusts, emergency services and government departments) and large private companies looking for a suitably competent supplier that operates under legal and best practice required standards for health and safety.

The BBA Agrement Certificate is awarded to a product after it has successfully passed a comprehensive assessment involving laboratory testing, on-site evaluations and inspections of production.

The BBA is the UK's major authority offering approval of construction products, systems and installers following testing, factory and site inspections.

They monitor product manufacture throughout the life of an Agrement Certificate, usually twice a year and more intensively at the end of each three-year period during the formal Review procedure.

Living Space is currently undergoing the BBA evaluation and certification process.
