Klober sponsors British Superbike team

Klober's sporting interest has extended to becoming a joint sponsor this season of the STP Racing Team.

The team which has 7 riders, three of which are competing in the National Superstock Championship, which is a support race for the British Superbike Championship.

The season began with test weekends in Almeria and Monza, and the first round was at Silverstone.

Rod Lynn has been one to watch since winning his first ever race.

2006 saw Rod compete in the NG Roadracing Powerbike and Open Championships finishing third in both.

This year he moves up to National level and he will be entering the National Superstock Cup riding a 2007 Yamaha R1 along with other riders, Victor Cox riding an MV Agusta 312 and Matt Whitman who is also riding a Yamaha R1.

Klober Managing Director David Arendell commented "Our association with Thomas Smith Roofing Centres was what led to our involvement this year, and with a team of seven riders there will be interest throughout".
