A Klober product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Nov 20, 2008

Klober Permo Forte vapour permeable roofing underlay has been specified by architects Lyster Grillet and Harding for two new school projects in Thurrock.

Gateway Academy accommodates over 800 pupils and has a 4000m2 roof over what is a G-shaped structure.

The 6000m2 Treetops School has enabled all of the area's special needs schools, with pupils ranging from pre-school to sixth form level, to be consolidated into one.

Simon Brown of LGH said "We were looking for a membrane of proven performance for use on new buildings which form part of the area's school relocation scheme".

"As one of the first membranes of its type, we have used Permo Forte on many previous occasions".

"Features such as its reinforced 4-layer construction give it excellent tensile and nail tear strength, while its suitability for both non-ventilated cold and warm roof applications has long since been backed by BBA certification".
