Health and safety software wins industry award
Knowledge Online announce that E-SAFE 100 has won the prestigious iTSHOWCASE Awards 2007 for Best Mobile or Site IT at Interbuild.
The latest accolade for E-SAFE 100 shows just how the technology is being received by the industry.
Knowledge Online Managing Director Andy McDonald said, "To win this award justifies our commitment and investment in mobile compliance auditing software solutions".
"We are helping more and more companies to capture vital field based information, improving the availability of management information as well as improving company productivity".
"The imminent arrival of the Corporate Manslaughter Legislation means a system that will help achieve accurate and comprehensive inspections and audits is essential".
"E-SAFE 100 is able to achieve this".
Working proof.
E-SAFE 100 has successfully increased the safety record for Pettifer Construction UK over the past 12 months.
Geoff Heppell, Pettifer pcm safety's managing director said, "E-SAFE 100 is a great advancement for the construction industry".
"For the first time we have a system that provides accountability and transparency".
"Health and safety is a top priority for Petiffer Construction and our employees have a right to know that they are working in as safe an environment as possible".
The Product.
E-SAFE 100 dramatically reduces the amount of manual reporting by capturing data electronically and downloading it to Knowledge Online's business information management system for monitoring and analysis.
The software is loaded onto a handheld PDA and taken with the appropriate field representative, whether it be for health and safety, quality, environment or property audits.
Findings are entered directly into the handheld.
E-SAFE 100 records it and creates a database of reports which can be emailed to the relevant people.
If the report is not carried out it sends an alert up the chain.
The system flags and resolves issues, preventing accidents or inefficiencies.
This new and efficient software conducts real-time analysis that is ideal to check compliance based performance, carry out snagging inspections, compare contractor performance, measure for best practice and allow for the automated escalation of an alert if necessary.
Whether a business has one or many inspectors, working at one venue or across many premises, E-SAFE 100 can seriously help improve audits and inspections.
