Koramic, the clay roof tile brand owned by Wienerberger, purchase three custom-made delivery vehicles.

Branded with the Koramic logo, the fleet features the latest technology to ensure that clay roof tiles are delivered quickly and efficiently Two of the vehicles feature radio-controlled hydraulic forks to ensure that pallets of roof tiles are offloaded efficiently and safely

The third benefits from a specialist piece of equipment which enables two pallets to be unloaded at a time to speed up the delivery process.

The new fleet is the latest development at Koramic's largest distribution centre in Sittingbourne, Kent, and will be used throughout the UK.

"These lorries have been built to our own specification and are purpose made for delivering clay roof tiles," said Melvyn Smith, commercial manager for Koramic.

"We have sourced the latest handling equipment to ensure fast and safe deliveries on a daily basis.

"Our presence in the UK continues to strengthen and we have invested heavily in our Sittingbourne depot to ensure the highest standards of service.

The new liveried fleet is the next step in an exciting future for Koramic clay roof tiles.".
