Kommerling Chemische Fabrik , Kommerling UK's parent company, is one of the few worldwide manufacturers of adhesives and sealants to fulfil all of the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 (quality management), DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 (environmental management) and OHSAS 18001 (occupational safety) and has had its production processes certified according to these standards.

Dick Spalton, managing director of Kommerling UK, explained: "For Kommerling and its employees, this comprehensive certification represents another milestone in the company's commitment to providing customer satisfaction combined with environmentally responsible conduct.

All processes have been audited to ensure a stable product quality, and there is no doubt that this approach will be continued and extended in the future".

He continued, "The company has a been working towards this recognition over the past 10 years through a series of successive ISO 9001certification audits.

However in response to increasing awareness of environmental management and occupational safety issues, the management systems have now been developed to encompass the full gamut of ISO standards".

The management systems were certified through the TUV Rheinland Group, based in Germany.

Kommerling UK (formerly Stag Limited) is a subsidiary of ADCO Europe Holdings (whose ultimate parent is ADCO Global ) Members of the group have over 100 years experience of the development of adhesives and sealants.

The company offers hundreds of established products for use in a range of markets including automotive, construction, glazing and marine.

As part of ADCO Global, the company has access to extensive research and development facilities that continue to introduce innovative products for an ever more demanding and increasingly diverse customer base.

The company has been awarded ISO 9001 certification and is a long standing member of the BASA (British Adhesive and Sealants Association) and the ASA (Association of Sealant Applicators).

Kommerling UK is completely independent from the PVC profiles and sheets manufacturer which bears the same name.
