Leicester-based Kommerling fabricator Austen Allen has a new owner and increased investment due to one trade customer's long-standing appreciation for the firm's Kommerling windows and doors.
James Linnett, owner of a successful installation business, had been searching for a reputable manufacturing business to invest in for some time.
So when he dropped in to order a door from his trusted supplier, Austen Allen -- his timing couldn't have been better.
"I went in to buy a door and walked out with a proposal for the whole company", laughed James Linnett.
"Austen Allen's existing owners had just announced their retirement, but made it very clear from the outset that they were keen to find a buyer who'd drive the company forward and maintain the standards of quality and service", he continued.
"We found we shared a similar philosophy and began our negotiations -- I successfully took over the business in September 2005".
DEDICATED.
With the firm's excellent reputation and team of loyal and dedicated staff, James Linnett found he had an excellent foundation on which set about building a completely new service for customers.
James said, "It soon became apparent that Austen Allen's reputation was a great advantage when talking to customers -- we decided to build on that reputation by offering trade customers a package that takes all the 'hassle' out of buying windows".
""We've simplified the way that trade customer's order windows.
Using our own dedicated delivery service we can guarantee early morning deliveries for both frames and consumables -- allowing installers more time on site doing the job they are paid for, rather than shopping for extras." Using his extensive 12 years experience as a trade customer, James Linnett has focused his team to the commitment of providing quality Kommerling products, and a reliable personal service unsurpassed in the industry".
