Electrical conduit and cable management products
To complement the Kopex International range of electrical conduit and cable management products for hazardous areas, a new range of convertors, adaptors and reducers has been introduced.
In construction, Screenflex 3 is overbraided with stainless steel over a nylon core to promote its EMC screening capability which is rated at 60 dB at 1mHz.
The overbraiding also provides additional protection against abrasion - which is important when it is installed in equipment that may vibrate or flex when in use.
With a temperature rating of -5 degrees to + 120 degrees c in flexing applications and 40 degrees to + 20 degrees c in static applications, Screenflex 3 is suitable for most healthcare equipment applications.
It is also extremely safe with the nylon rated to UL 94 VO.
Flames die in less than 30 seconds under specific test conditions.
The associated Screenflex 3 straight male connector is made from aluminium and is ingress protection rated to IP 66.
Screenflex 3 is part of a complete family of Screenflex flexible conduits for specialist markets manufactured by Kopex.
