Three Gigabit Combo Ports.
The JetNet 5010G/3010G equips three combo Gigabit slots, three small form factor plug-in SFPs (mini-GBICs slots to accommodate 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX or 100BASE-FX connectivity) that can connect to fiber cabling as uplink for flexible Gigabit Ethernet backbone, the other two ports as Gigabit Fiber Redundant Ring.

To optimize network traffic, network administrators can segment ports into different VLANs, or filter multicast traffic by IGMP Snooping.
