Anti theft system for mini excavators
To combat the increasing theft of construction plant, Kubota has responded to market demands by introducing their unique key-based 'Anti-Theft' system as standard equipment on its mini excavators.
Its layout also puts most components within easy reach for fast maintenance.
With the track gauge quickly adjustable down to 700mm, the K008-3 easily fits through most doorways, allowing access inside buildings.
The 990kg zero tail swing U10-3 mini has a maximum dig depth of 1,800mm.
Designed for high performance digging operations, particularly in confined and awkward areas, it also enables fast convenient movement between sites.
By keeping the rear engine hood within the track at all times, it's able to work safely close to buildings, walls and busy roads, without restriction, allowing the operator to concentrate fully on the job in hand.
A single lever retracts the undercarriage in seconds to allow it to slip through a 750mm wide doorway without difficulty.
To reduce the risk of loose hoses from boom-mounted or hand-held attachments catching on nearby objects, the U10-3 has its hydraulic service port located at the end of the boom.
