Achieving, and ideally exceeding, minimum external envelope U Values is critical.
The two additions to the Thermalcheck range take the form of 9.5mm wallboard bonded to high performance phenolic foam to provide an overall thickness of 60 or 70mm.
The new thicker boards for drylining solid external walls allow U Values as low as 0.2 W/m2K to be achieved.
Depending on U Value specification requirements they enable the designer to opt for the either 60mm or 70mm Thermalcheck K board as appropriate.
The phenolic foam used offers greater thermal performance for the same thickness than alternative polystyrene laminates and additional fire safety.
Thermalcheck K also incorporates a vapour control barrier as standard.
Ease of installation, using direct bond or metal Dryliner channels, contributes to construction speed.
