Lafarge supplies gypsum board for hotel wet areas

Lafarge Plasterboard has joined Sheffield Insulation Group and plastering and drywall contractor, WK Plasterers for the renovation of The Bluebell Hotel in Wales.

Lafarge Plasterboard has supplied its GTEC Aqua Board to be fitted in the bathroom and wet areas The gypsum based solution was specified for its moisture and mould resistance properties.

GTEC Aqua board, from Lafarge's Specialist range, is designed for both interior and exterior wet area applications.

Andy Moffat of Sheffield Insulation Group commented:: "In a high traffic, high moisture environment, a product like Aqua Board is essential to avoid damp and mould damage".

"It's great from a dryliner's perspective because its light and doesn't require a gap when fitting unlike cement based boards, so it really cuts down on installation time".
