Lafarge launches GTEC Aqua Board competition

Lafarge Plasterboard has launched a GTEC Aqua Board competition in partnership with UK builders merchants.

'Clean Up in 2010' centers around GTEC Aqua Board, Lafarge's gypsum based solution for wet area applications.

Customers who purchase GTEC Aqua Board from any Lafarge stockist will automatically be entered into the prize draw to win a kitchen or bathroom courtesy of Lafarge.

GTEC Aqua Board is the UK's first gypsum based board for use in high humidity and wet areas for both internal and external applications.

It is suitable for use as a tile backing board or can be painted, providing design flexibility for the user.

GTEC Aqua Board offers benefits over traditional alternatives such as cement particle boards; It is lighter and therefore easier to handle, is easy to cut by treating it the same as normal plasterboard - score and snap.

Being gypsum based, GTEC Aqua Board eliminates the worry of excessive dust.

To fix, there is no pre drilling required and users can use drywall screws.

Participating branches of the competition will be supported with promotional merchandise and point of sale material supplied by Lafarge Plasterboard.
