Lakesmere gets Building Confidence
Accreditation
Building envelope specialists Lakesmere has gained full accreditation to the Building Confidence Standard.

Lakesmere successfully completed the detailed three part audit, which assesses factors such as safety, quality, financial health and environmental policies, in two months without any revisions or actions.
Chris Horsfall, Lakesmere's Business Development Director comments: "As a company we are keen to raise awareness of the benefits of collaborative working practices, both within our own supply chain and with main contractors, architects and clients".
"Lakesmere has already completed a number of projects for Bovis Lend Lease and we are delighted to be in a position to continue this positive working relationship by being accredited to the Building Confidence Standard".
Lakesmere's recognition as an approved supplier to Bovis Lend Lease is the latest achievement by the company, which this year is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
The important milestone follows what was Lakesmere most successful year to date, with the company reporting revenue growth of 26% for the period of 2007/8.
One key business strategy that Lakesmere implemented in order to continue to build on its existing strong position in the market was to focus on core skills to seek out more complex, larger and more profitable contracts with selected clients.
To this end, Lakesmere has increased its average order value to just over GBP1m, with over 75% of contracts now being repeat business.
