Lakesmere starts awards season with a
double win
Lakesmere are a big winner at the Specialist Awards 2008, the prestigious event organised by leading trade magazine Construction News to reward the unsung heroes of the construction industry.
Lakesmere's first win was in the Cladding and Glazing category, where the company was recognised for its work on the imposing new O2 Arena in London's Docklands The challenging project saw Lakesmere install the cladding to the rear of the new stadium's 'bowl shaped' auditorium using the innovative new Kalzip XT system

Lakesmere makes it a double at the NFRC awards
Two recent Lakesmere projects have been made it to the final stages of the 2007 National Federation Of Roofing Contractors Awards.
The company also enjoyed success in the Business Growth category, a new award that made its debut at the 2008 event.
Reflecting Lakesmere's continuing corporate development, the impressive win follows what has been a very successful period of expansion for Lakesmere, with a reported revenue growth of 26% for the year 2007/8.
The Specialists Awards judges noted the addition of a business improvement programme led by a "strong management approach" had fuelled company growth.
Mark Davey, Lakesmere's Managing Director explains: "We are delighted to have two more awards to add to our collection".
"Last year was our most successful financial year to date and through the implementation of various business initiatives and strategies, we are in a position to build on this strong foundation to make 2008 even better".
