Plastics has appointed Ron Saunders as area sales manager for Scotland.

Scottish Borders based Ron has more than 22 years experience in the windows and doors industry, the bulk of which has been in a technical sales capacity.

He will work closely with fabricators, architects, housebuilders and public sector specifiers throughout his large geographical area, providing crucial support to customers using the advanced Sheerframe window and door systems, as well as the Sheerlite conservatory roofing system and Hometrim cellular cladding and trims range.

Commenting on his new position, Ron says, "I am very much looking forward to building on the strong position L.B.Plastics has already established".

"The Sheerframe brand is synonymous with high quality and I am delighted to be working with a great product range at a time when issues such as energy efficiency are finally being given the attention they deserve".

Ron takes up the area sales manager position for Scotland and Ireland following the retirement of long-serving Crawford Dickson who retires from L.B.Plastics after 22 years.

L.B.Plastics operates an extensive Sheerframe approved contractor network throughout the UK and Ireland, with a particularly strong representation in Scotland.

Scottish fabricators are based as far south as Lockerbie and cover all corners of the nation up to the very far north of the Shetland Islands and the Isle of Lewis.
