Leadbitter wins Bournemouth University contract

A Leadbitter product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 22, 2010

The Leadbitter Group has been awarded a contract to design and build a further project as part of the ongoing expansion of Bournemouth University.

The Company has just started to build the University's new Kimmeridge Lecture Theatre on its main campus, due for completion towards the end of the year.

The project follows Leadbitter's successful completion of a major student accommodation project, Lyme Regis House in the centre of Bournemouth, on behalf of Signpost Homes, part of Spectrum Housing.

Leadbitter is also involved in the design and build of several specialist buildings for universities including major new sports centres for both the University of Brighton's Falmer Campus and for University College Plymouth St Mark and St John (Marjon).

Leadbitter was also recently appointed to Swansea University's four year major works framework.

Moving forward in 2010, the latest contract win in Bournemouth will continue to enhance Leadbitter's growing reputation for expertise in developing state-of-the-art facilities within higher education environments throughout central and southern England.
