Now available: entry form and details of how to enter The Emirates Glass LEAF Awards 2008, which are already attracting many entries from leading architects worldwide.

The closing date is 1 September.

Now in their fifth year, the Emirates Glass LEAF Awards have rapidly become the most prestigious worldwide architectural prizes, recognising excellence in architectural design and build.

The Emirates Glass LEAF Awards 2008 have eight categories covering aspects of building design.

- BEST STRUCTURAL DESIGN OF THE YEAR.

- BEST SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT sponsored by German Timber.

- COMMERCIAL BUILDING OF THE YEAR sponsored by Bauporte.

- INTERNATIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN OF THE YEAR.

- MIXED USE BUILDING OF THE YEAR.

- NEW INNOVATION OF THE YEAR.

- RESIDENTIAL BUILDING OF THE YEAR.

- YOUNG ARCHITECT OF THE YEAR.

PLUS - THE GRAND PRIX WINNER.

Entry is open to all architects and building entries throughout the world.

Winners will be judged by a panel of distinguished experts from the architectural sector.

They will be announced at a spectacular Awards dinner at the Dorchester Hotel, London in London on 23 October 2008.

Simona Kastly, Project Manager for The Emirates Glass LEAF Awards, commented: "The Emirates Glass LEAF Awards honour the architects designing buildings and solutions that are setting the benchmark for the international architectural community.

"Once again we expect keen competition with hundreds of entries from both world famous architects and those currently little known with projects covering the whole spectrum of building.
