Launch of a natural clay plain tile colour going under the historic Rosemary name in the Redland range from Lafarge Roofing.

Roofing specifiers in the south-east were given a boost this week with the launch of a natural clay plain tile colour combining a rustic-finish with distinctively varied dark colours developed especially for the region, going under the historic Rosemary name in the Redland range from Lafarge Roofing The warmly dark-sooted rustic addition to the 160-year-old Rosemary range is called Burnt Blend, and is the result of a new production process for the company's Bedworth factory, which applies red and black sands in an infinitely variable mix of depths

And this is exactly the result that is in especially high demand across the south-east for upmarket self-build housing, as well as for home improvements.

Burnt Blend fills a gap identified in Lafarge Roofing's already extensive range of tiles and slates, and eliminates the need for comprises otherwise enforced upon housebuilders and their contractors to choose between either a through-coloured or a completely sanded clay tile - with nothing in-between.

This choice is enhanced with matching ornamentals, angles, hips, valleys, ridges and vent terminals.

The Burnt Blend tile and all its accessories are backed by a unique guarantee for the whole roof to perform.

That is the Redland 15 Year Roof System Guarantee, for modern high performance without any compromise to the classic look of a traditional natural clay plain tile roof - especially for the south-east.
