Finlay Group reclaimer improves waste management
Finlay Plant North West has supplied a Terex Finlay reclaimer for a waste management company to increase recycling rate and improve stock piling capabilities.
The Terex Finlay 883 reclaimer has been supplied by Finlay Plant North West, part of the Finlay Group, features the brands new white colour scheme that is progressively replacing the previous orange colour.
This is the first machine off the production line in the new colour.
This is the third 883 reclaimer supplied by Finlay to Henshaws to recycle inert waste within the last five years.
Terex Finlay 883 reclaimer features longer conveyors to enhance performance and has already enabled Henshaws to increase their recycling rate to 90 per cent.
Joe Henshaw managing director of Henshaws, said: "The 883 has transformed our operations here.
Recycling soil, bricks and hardcore, the machine produces 10mm top soil, crush and run, and oversized material for crushing.
"We've also been able to reduce the amount of fines going to landfill, due to the fact the top deck of the machine is fitted with heavy duty tines".
"The Finlay 883 works as an aggregate screener after a primary crusher, or on its own as a frontline screening machine".
"Applications include quarry waste, construction and demolition debris, topsoil and aggregates".
