From showroom to show home
Disused car showroom in Leyton, east London, acquired by ASRA Greater London Housing Association in May last year, has made way for a development of new affordable homes for local people.
A 'traffic light' rating of red, amber or green is given against each area, with green as the top rating.
Four green lights demonstrate that the association has met or exceeded the required standard across all the categories which are assessed.
Margaret Allen, Housing Corporation Field Director (Central), said: "We are very pleased to announce that LHA-ASRA has gained all four green lights in its latest Housing Corporation assessment.
This demonstrates that they have successfully met or exceeded the standards set across all four key performance areas needed to ensure the quality of the services they offer to the people of the east midlands, Greater London and the south east." Atul Patel, Group CEO of LHA-ASRA said: "The Housing Corporation's regulation is robust and we are delighted to have received this excellent validation of our work.
"We are committed to building better homes, better communities and better lives for our 11,000 customers, and this independent assessment shows we are on track".
