At long-last the age-old problem of maintaining and replacing timber and u-PVC fascias and soffits has been solved by the development of a moulded concrete block - RoofBlock, now available from Lignacite In an industry needing to demonstrate true sustainability and life cycle performance, BRE approved RoofBlock scores highly

Made from concrete, maintenance and replacement of rotting and faded fascias need no longer be an issue.

Installation is far quicker and cheaper too, with less brick cutting and wastage, eliminating the need to make good brickwork damage caused during fixing of gable ladders.

With working at height avoided after building completion and with CDM Regulations requiring specifiers to design out future maintenance where practicable, RoofBlock will make a valuable contribution to accident prevention.

The product has a wide range of advantages that appeal to different markets.

Builders and developers find it simplifies the building process and saves them money, as well as providing 'kerb appeal'.

It also requires no special fixings and no maintenance to retain its appearance.

Developed in Ireland, where it has been in use for several years, the product is now available in the UK in a wider range of colours and finishes.

Lignacite M.D.

Giles de Lotbiniere added, "because of its cost, ease of installation and appearance, we feel that house builders will appreciate the added design scope that RoofBlock offers".
