Link Tools, the hand tools credited with raising the bar for hand tools with their patented locking mechanism, is introducing a new1/2 inch drive set.
Long the standard tool of choice for cars and for small trucks, the 1/2 inch drive is also used extensively on farms for stationery equipment, i.e., medium-size generators, on small earth movers, hauling equipment and on older grain elevators.
The 1/2 inch LINK Tool system is also highly effective in the repair of smaller equipment needs on large ships, such as hoists and loaders.
The LINK QUICK-LOCK technology guarantees "no dropped" sockets or tool separations, and extends this benefit to all standard sockets by locking them on as well.
This benefit means that disruption of service and damage to equipment can be eliminated using LINK equipment.
Link Tools have been recognized worldwide for their job results.
TUV, a global leader in independent testing and assessment services has certified that the use of Link Tools in on-the-job tests results in increased worker productivity, speeding up the work process.
In addition, the tools reduce the stress on the human frame.
Stress brought on by repetitive action is often a cause of disabilities or missed work.
"Eliminating worker injuries and long term disabilities can lead to a stronger bottom line," according to John Davidson, president of Link Tools.
The complete Link Tools 1/2 inch drive set includes three LINK Extendor locking extensions in 3, 6 and 10 inch lengths, the LINK locking Universal Joint, the LINK locking Palm Wrench/Speeder, and LINK's unique locking UniDriver tool.
The complete set retails at $224.99.
Each of the items in the set can also be purchased individually.
Link Tools also manufactures other drive sets in 1/4 , 3/8 and 3/4 inch sizes.
Link Tools will lock on to all standard sockets.
Link Tools have been used by NASA, the PGA, major airlines, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, the U.S.
Army Tank, Automotive and Armaments Command and the U.S.
nuclear submarine fleet.
They have also been evaluated and strongly recommended by the Aviation Technical Council, Professional Tool and Equipment and several other marine and automotive equipment publications.
More recently the tools have been adopted by several nuclear power installations where safety concerns regarding Foreign Materials Exclusion are always a high priority.
