The Hemp panels will typically measure 3m x 2m and 300mm to 500mm thick depending on what is required for each project.
Hemp is mixed with lime and sprayed into the ModCell panel, drying to create a structural Cellulose Insulation Core (CIC).
A protective lime render is then used to plaster the wall.

Tradical Hemcrete is a hemp-lime solution used in the construction of walls.
It comprises a unique blend of specially prepared hemp shiv (Tradical HF) and a special lime-based binder (Tradical HB) which together form a bio-composite building material.
Tradical Hemcrete locks in around 110kg of CO2 per m of wall providing a net saving of tens of tonnes during the construction of a typical house.
By replacing traditional building materials with Tradical Hemcrete, the potential savings from house building activity alone could run into millions of tonnes of CO2 per year - a benefit the UK cannot afford to ignore.
The ModCell Hemp panel offers an excellent thermal performance due to its high insulation properties and unique phase change characteristics.
The new ModCell Hemp panels help to stabilise internal temperatures to further reduce energy consumption - and lower the cost of utility bills.
Ian Pritchett, Managing Director of Lime Technology said, "The combination of TradicalHemcrete and ModCell to create the first prefabricated hemp lime panel solution in the world is an achievement we are all very proud of.
"This innovative partnership has produced one of the best value materials for low impact, sustainable and commercially viable construction the UK has ever seen.".
