Linford Group to re-build Edwards No 8 nightclub
Lichfield-based building company Linford Group has won the contract to rebuild Edwards No 8 nightclub in Birmingham's city centre.
Stuart Fisher has been appointed as Bid Manager and will be responsible for the company's entire estimating department, including the restoration estimating department and the new-build estimating team.
Mr Williams has a background in contract management, and joins Linford Group from Allenbuild.
He said: "By appointing a dedicated Quality Manager, Linford Group is clearly underlining its commitment not just to seeing contracts delivered on time and on budget, but to carrying customer satisfaction right through any defect liability period." Mr Fisher also brings extensive experience and skills to the company.
He joins Linford Group after four years with Miller Construction at its Nottingham office and seven years at Norwest Holst in a number of key roles.
He said: "Linford Group has an excellent reputation in both the new-build and the restoration sector.
I am very pleased to be joining such a well-respected and well-established company.
"As part of my new role I will be working closely with the team to further develop and enhance our estimating procedures and practices."
