New PVC-U mixing plant for Liniar window system

A Liniar product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team May 20, 2009

HL Plastics, manufacturer of the innovative lead-free window system, Liniar, has invested in an in-house mixing plant.

The investment at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Derbyshire includes a horizontal blender and a compounder which will give Liniar the capacity to produce 17,000 tonnes of PVC-U raw materials a year.

Since the Liniar system was launched early in 2008, sales have grown quickly so Liniar has acted to bring mixing under its own control to maintain its growth and quality of its products.

Liniar is an innovative window system with many unique features.

The experienced team behind it has designed out the problems of many legacy systems to make life easier for fabricators.

The result is a window system designed for the challenges of today.

Managing Director Roger Hartshorn comments: "From a standing start in February 2008, we now have 75 fabricators attracted by a legacy free, designed for today system and a truly approachable management team".

"Providing high quality products is important to us, and our customers".

"The new mixing plant will enable us to achieve this as our growth continues".

"It allows us to meet our current requirements and our future needs too.
