Liniar lowers carbon footprint for fabricators

A Liniar product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 1, 2009

More fabricators are specifying the Liniar window system from HL Plastics for high performance energy efficency and security.

HL Plastics' innovative window system Liniar has recently gained 13 new fabricator customers.

The Liniar window system offers unique design features; - Lead-free; it meets the Vinyl 2010 commitment ahead of time and requires substantially less steel reinforcement cutting costs and fabrication time.

- Thermally efficient design; helps fabricators achieve the highest Window Energy Ratings (WERs) using a variety of glazing specifications so they can take advantage of growing sales opportunities.

- BS7950 accredited; offers enhanced security so there is no compromise or trade-off between energy efficiency and security.

Managing Director Roger Hartshorn believes fabricators are switching to Liniar because of its combination of benefits.

"We designed a system which is legacy free and makes fabrication and installation easier," he says.

"We now have 85 fabricators and we're getting a steady stream of enquiries...fabricators and installers have to compete for work in a much more difficult and competitive market now".

"Costs are higher and most systems are similar".

"Homeowners are looking for better value and products which help them save money, improve their security and carbon footprint while looking good and improving the look and value of their home".

Roger adds: "From our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility we have room to grow".

"We're currently working at a third of our newly installed capacity".

"As more fabricators come on board we'll be able to offer them a high level of customer service".
