Contractors bank on Decothane
Liquid Plastics has recently provided the Yorkshire Bank Headquarters in Leeds with a Cold Fusion Bonded Built-Up Roofing System, applied by McConnell Seamless Roofing.
W H Coatings specified the Cold Fusion Bonded Built-Up Roofing System because it utilises zero flame, zero heat technology to allow for a completely cold application.
The built-up system includes Decotherm insulation and is topped with a seamless, elastomeric Decothane membrane.
A series of Decolight Pyramid Rooflights were also installed to replace the old existing rooflights and to allow natural light into the rooms below.
The complete system is fully bonded with Decostik Cold Fusion Adhesive and can be guaranteed for up to 25 years, although a cost effective 15 year system was chosen for this project.
Furthermore the work was quickly and safely completed without causing any risk of fire or danger to the pupils and staff working below.
